Double whammy awards
First our new 1802 Vintage gets a silver in the best new product competition at Ludlow festival, swiftly followed by two stars for our Medium Dry from The Guild of Fine Food!
We are pleased to announce that our Red Oak cider has been awarded three stars by the guild of fine foods in the Great British taste awards. One of only 8 ciders to have been awarded three stars.
This is what the judges had to say: "A deep golden cider with almost a rose gold tinge, and a complex aroma - fruitiness with oak coming through and almost a hint of calvodos. Not heavily oaked although the oakiness comes through- Smooth, satisfying, elegant complexity; a very accomplished cider.
"on the nose Vanilla, marshmallow, Brighton rock. The barrel aging comes through but doesn't dominate. A really lovely sherry colour with a vinous hint following through to the cider."
